Register

The registration fee of $2,995 includes course tuition, manual, resource publications, hand magnifying glass, soil test, refreshment breaks, class photograph, welcome reception and closing banquet. Participants are responsible to pay for their own meals and accommodation.

Payment Options

You may pay the full fee in one or two payments. If you choose to pay in two installments, the deposit is $500. The balance is due the last Friday in November preceding the start date of your program (November 24, 2017 for the 2018 course). Payment must accompany your registration in order for it to be processed.

Receipt

Continuing Education courses are financially self-supporting and tuition fees are income tax deductible. Receipts can be retrieved from the OpenEd Student Portal.

Withdrawal Policy

Registrants who cancel at least 30 days before the start of the course are subject to an administration charge of $100.00. Those who cancel 29 or fewer days before the course starts will be charged a $500.00 cancellation fee.

Course Cancellations/Postponements

Open Learning and Educational Support reserves the right to change or cancel a course at any time. When it is necessary to cancel or postpone a course, Open Learning and Educational Support will make every effort to notify all participants. It is important that you provide your home and business telephone numbers and email address when registering. In such cases, the paid course fee(s) will be refunded.

Open Learning and Educational Support’s liability is limited to the reimbursement of paid course fee(s). Open Learning and Educational Support will not be responsible for travel or other related expenses incurred by the registrant.

Financial Assistance

Staff and friends of the University have established and contribute annually to bursary funds to assist students in need.
